  • Breathwork is a practice where we are consciously affecting the breath. Breathwork is, like for example Yoga, an umbrella term. There are many different breathwork methods and techniques that are designed to have different effects on the body, the mind and emotions. Breathwork can be calming, activating, or healing, depending on the style or intention behind the practice.

  • A lot of my clients actually do Breathwork for the first time. Especially in Europe, I feel like Breathwork is not as big yet as in other parts of the world. Many people have tried Pranayama because it is taught in some Yoga classes, but Breathwork Journeys are quite different from that. Anyway, if you are a newbie, you are as welcome as anyone else in this space! Before the actual journey, you will be fully informed about the whole process and what is going to happen, and I will guide and support you throughout the whole journey. I want to create a safe and intentional space for you to meet yourself wherever you are that day and feel held throughout the entire session.

  • Breathwork is an amazing tool to connect with yourself on a deeper level and to peel back the layers that you have built over the years and use to protect yourself. Whatever you are facing at the moment – may it be stress, anxiety, fear, overwhelm, grief, anger, joy or a loss or direction – breathwork can bring more clarity into your life and support you to get a new perspective on things.

  • I am certified in a conscious connected breathwork technique called the “sacred breathwork method” which works with a nose inhale and a mouth exhale. It is a circular style of breathing, that activates the parasympathetic nervous system response, prioritizes a trauma-informed, somatically intelligent, and safe space for breathwork journeys. It is designed to facilitate deep healing, emotional release, and spiritual exploration through the power of the breath.

  • Everybody’s experience with breathwork is very different. It can create a deeper connection to yourself, to your body. Some experiences can be very strong on a physical level, some are more emotional, spiritual or transformational. The beautiful thing is, that the breath will bring you, whatever you are ready to deal with and support you with whatever you are facing at this moment. Apart from that: YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CONTROL of your breath.

  • Breathwork can have numerous benefits, including stress reduction, increased relaxation, improved focus, enhanced emotional well-being, and better physical health. It can improve your sleep, help you to have a deeper connection to your self and your body and bring you a sense of clarity and new perspectives.

„My initial breathwork journey with Julia included an in-depth intro into the specific breathing technique used in the session. Julia brings a lot of knowledge to the session and could answer all my questions I had. Due to her professionalism and calm being I felt very at ease.

After the intro we practised the proper breathing technique which Julia demonstrated for me. I was then gently guided into the journey.
